INDIO – “The” Internet Radio!
Listen to broadcasting from more than 10,000 live radio stations and on-demand streams in every genre around the world completely free of charge! The station list database is maintained and provided by Reciva.
Can store up to 5 preset stations and add new stations to the list by using a PC to search for stations then upload the URLs into a “My Stations” folder on Reciva's site. Or playing your music collection from your computer. It supports CIFS and UPnP to stream music from a networked Windows Shares PC or UPNP server (e.g. Windows Media Player 11).
It plays music in the MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, AU, AIFF, FLAC and REAL formats and displays stream with metadata (e.g. name of the title, singer, album, etc.) on the big high-contrast black and white display.
This elegantly built Internet Radio delivers non-biased music from high-performance speakers driven by a powerful Class-D digital amplifier!
The streamed audio is being sent to the digital amplifier thru an I2S digital bus without any conversion required (e.g. Digital-Analog Converter, DAC) thus maintaining the clarity of the sound (e.g. not even a slice noise).
INDIO features a built-in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi port for wireless connection, line out/headphone jack, full-function remote control, and clock radio functions.
